About This Role

This is one of the most challenging roles we're hiring for - you'll be the technical founder's force multiplier in a role that demands both technical excellence and ego-free support. Think "technical founder apprenticeship meets special forces operator" - you'll dive deep into code reviews and architecture one moment, then pivot to optimizing the CTO's impact the next. Your scope is deliberately unbounded because we want you to continually expand it.

Being an AI-first company, you'll use our internal tooling to create leverage, then create tools to create more leverage. Your success metrics? How much you can amplify the technical organization's impact and how far you can push the boundaries of what this role can accomplish.

Your Scope

• Technical: Code reviews, architecture discussions, technical documentation, hands-on development, and hiring
• Strategic: Help prioritize technical initiatives, prepare for key discussions, identify bottlenecks
• Operational: Coordinate technical team activities, help manage CTO time, travel & tools
• Communication: Draft technical communications, interface with team and stakeholders
• Finding new ways to create leverage across the technical organization
• Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks before they become visible
• Building systems that scale beyond your direct involvement

• Have an insatiable drive to learn and build
• Are entrepreneurial by nature and are interested in starting a[nother] company
• Love the idea of being an early "founding team" member (you may be among the first 5 hires)
• Are keenly interested in applied GenAI both internal and external
• Have built complex software systems (we care more about your drive and capability than years of experience)
